REBUILD KIT FOR ONE WIRE 10SI DELCO ALTERNATOR WITH INTERNAL REGULATOR (GM 1970-1986).

KIT CONTAINS AN AC EXCITED VOLTAGE REGULATOR, CONNECTING WIRES, BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLY W/BRUSHES, BRIDGE RECTIFIER, PULLEY BEARING, SRE BEARING, BAT TERMINAL, AND INTERNAL COMPONENT FASTENING SCREWS ALONG WITH INSTRUCTIONS.

The AC excited regulator is a very low turn on regulator which avoids the problems of high turn on speeds associated with some of the more conventional self excited regulators(our internal performance testing shows more than a 50% lower turn on speed). No diode trio is required with this regulator. It also is a very low leakage current unit which eliminates the worry of draining the battery over time. If you have had problems in the past with unacceptable turn on speed of the alternator this regulator will solve that problem. All that is required for the alternator to operate is a battery wire connection to the BAT terminal on the alternator. This kit will repair your alternator and convert it to a one wire unit as well.

We like to poke a little fun here at Autoweek when a “new” Bugatti Veyron model comes out. First we took the top off, then we added power, then we took the top off that, then we added a dragon, now we're painting it light blue, and so on. This one, though, is actually pretty cool.

White Van Man 'worst for tailgating'

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

MOTORISTS should beware of White Van Man on their tail, according to a survey of thousands of accidents. Van drivers were 47% more likely to be involved in a crash when they were following other drivers too closely, the survey by AXA Business Insurance found. The survey also found van drivers were much more likely than other drivers to crash while reversing, doing a U-turn and changing lanes, while they were more liable than other road users to get tired or distracted.
