This is a Delco-Remy 12 volt Flange Mount Hi-Torque Starter. 168 tooth flywheel.  Part number 1998560.  Date code is 5M16 2  The starter works great.  This starter came off of a mid 60's Chevrolet 283 out of a truck.  It will fit any small block with a 168 tooth flywheel and a flange mount provision on the  bell Housing. I changed the Bell housing for a later one with hydraulic clutch so I had to change starters too. The mounting flange is in excellent shape and everything works as it should.  I don't know if it has been rebuilt but it is very clean and worked with no issues.  Thanks for looking.
