Ford won't bring Ka, Ranger to U.S.

As a range-topping S-Class designed primarily for those who wish to be driven, rather than drive, the S 600 comes lavishly equipped with everything from Magic Body Control and LED headlights to Driving Assistance Package Plus and a whole raft of electronic aids including Active Lane Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Brake Assist plus Cruise that can actually steer the big Merc. Options will include everything from Nigh Vision to an Executive Rear Seat Package.

And now, it seems, there is going to be a Tesla Model S with performance to rival the BMW M5. At an event yesterday in California, Elon Musk revealed that at launch – the Model S is expected to be hit the road in 2012 with UK cars arriving in 2013 – the Model S will in fact have four variants on offer.
