Jaguar XJ & XF get 4WD

Thu, 16 Aug 2012

Jaguar has announced that four wheel driveĀ versionsĀ of the Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF will be available – but not in the UK. Jaguar has long bemoaned the lack of a 4WD platform for their cars, and even blamed such a lack of flexibility for the delay in launching the XF Sportbrake. We’ve been expecting Jaguar to reveal a 4WD version of the XJ for a while (especially as the new Range Rover utilises the same platform) but we didn’t expect a 4WD XF until the next generation XF launches in a couple of years.

McLaren P1 almost sold out

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

The McLaren P1 (pictured) is almost sold out The last time McLaren decided to build a supercar to beat all supercars was with the McLaren F1 but, despite it’s huge ability and now iconic status – and huge value – they had to give up making it after just 64 cars as they couldn’t find buyers. Fortunately – for McLaren are a bit stretched non all fronts at the moment – it seems that history isn’t repeating itself with the new McLaren P1 as reports today suggest the P1 is all but sold out. Autocar are reporting there are just a handful of the 375 P1s left to sell, with the P1 allocation for America, the Middle East and Asia already sold out and just a handful of cars left for Europe and other parts of the world.
