By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 05 June 2014 12:08 Wrapped up in yesterday's announcement about McLaren Automotive breaking into profit for the first time was the news that a new, hardcore McLaren P1 track version will be launched next year. Renault Clio & Captur get range updates

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Renault Clio & Captur get range updates The new Renault Clio and the new Renault Captur really haven’t been with us very long, but that’s not stopping Renault from extending the range of options. Both the Clio and Captur can now be ordered with the six-speed EDC auto fitted to the dCi 90 diesel engine, offering an extra option for those who just want an easy drive. If you opt for the EDC ‘box on the new Captur, you’ll get (official) economy of 72.4mpg and emissions of 95g/km, whilst the Clio offers 76mpg and 83.1mpg.

In a new video to promote the RS6 Avant – perhaps the pick of the crop of current uber-estates – Audi has the e-tron quattro out on the road in a series of familiar everyday pursuits. So we get the e-tron quattro waiting patiently to collect hubby from the airport, as the c ar to drive to the hills to ride a mountain bike, outside a hotel with luggage on the pavement, collecting the kids from school, parked on the river bank for a fishing trip and as a dog transporter.
