Toyota Furia Concept teased ahead of Detroit Auto Show (video)

Fri, 21 Dec 2012

Toyota has revealed a short video teasing a new concept car for the Detroit Auto Show - the Toyota Furia Concept. Toyota are intent on convincing us they’re heading in a sportier direction with their cars, and it’s true that dynamics and styling seem to be coming to the forefront in new models. That intent is demonstrated with the latest concept from Toyota – the Toyota Furia – which gets a tease ahead of a Detroit Auto Show reveal and appears to offer a sporty-looking saloon and a name that could have come straight from a video game – cue explosions and fire to demonstrate the Furia.

Mercedes AMG GT (almost) revealed

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

The Mercedes AMG GT revealed with green and black camouflage As we expected, Mercedes is drawing out the tease for the reeval of the new AMG GT – effectively a replacement for the SLS – and milking every detail for more column inches. We’ve had a full reveal of the S-Class inspired interior – a full reveal, not just a few detail shots – and we’ve also had a tease of the AMG GT on video with a few blurry glimpses of the new car dotted throughout. We’ve even had a variation on the tease them with a selection of engine noises – from idle to high revs – but now we get a real photo of the AMG GT, albeit covered in lurid green and black camouflage swirls.

2013 Ford Mondeo debuts on Thursday – but is it time for a name change?

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

Ford will reveal the new Mondeo on Thursday at the ‘Go Further’ event in Amsterdam as well as news of major product acceleration. We saw the first photo of the new Ford Mondeo back in January, shortly after Ford revealed its North American sibling – the Ford Fusion – at the Detroit Motor Show. At that time, especially as the Fusion had already been properly revealed, we assumed the new Mondeo would debut at Geneva in the Spring, but it didn’t.
