The tilt sensor detects when the vehicle is being raised in an attempt to remove the wheels or tow the vehicle. The 507M is capable of independently referencing the vehicle's initial angles of inclination each time the vehicle is parked, ensuring the most accurate tilt sensing possible. Mounting: The sensor control module must be mounted at an angle no greater than 45-degrees, with respect to the horizontal plane of your vehicle, and it must be mounted with the case top face upward. It is recommended mounting the control module to the floor of the vehicle. To mount the control module, fasten the unit with the provided double stick foam tape or screw to secure it in place. Wiring: To wire the 507M, simply plug the 3-pin harness into the control module and connect the following wires from the harness to your vehicle and vehicle's alarm system.

The 2014 Tour de France will see its first three stages run in the UK, so Skoda are doing a ‘cycling enthusiast’ version of the Yeti, Superb and Octavia with some ‘le Tour de France’ badges, waterproof covers for the seats and bike wheel bags as well as throwing in a centenary edition of the Rouleur Tour de France book and a chance to win a VIP Tour de France experience. Fisker Automotive lays off some workers as government reworks loan
Mon, 06 Feb 2012Work on the Fisker Nina family sedan has temporarily halted at the Fisker Automotive plant in Wilmington, Del., while the carmaker and the federal government hash out details of the company's $529 million Department of Energy loan. The interruption has resulted in the layoff of 26 people at its Delaware plant and a number of contract engineers at Fisker's Anaheim, Calif., headquarters. Fisker Automotive said some of the engineering-staff reductions in Anaheim were already planned to occur in between development of the Karma and the Nina.
