Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept at Tokyo
Thu, 01 Oct 2009The Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept - a hybrid crossover The ‘PX’ bit of the name is Mitsubishi’s code for Plug-in Hybrid Crossover (saves a bit of room on the boot lid), so the PX-MiEV gets a 1.6 litre 4-pot to drive the front wheels together with an electric motor. An additional electric motor is used to power the rear wheels when circumstances dictate. The PX-MiEV can also run for up to 30 miles in EV mode, after which it turns in to a hybrid to drive and recharge the batteries.

Tue, 10 Dec 2013New BMW M3 & M4 teased on video (M4 Concept pictured) The new BMW M3 and M4 – effectively an M3 Coupe – are due for a debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month, and BMW are starting the tease with a new video. The video shows nothing of real note, just the outline of the M3 and M4 picked out by moving lights. Which seems a bit daft when we already have a pretty good idea of what’s on offer.
Automotive Brand Awards 2012 winners revealed
Tue, 14 Aug 2012The Audi A3, Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupé and Volkswagen Up were amongst the winners of the 'Best of Best' awards at this year's Automotive Brand Awards. The difficult job of picking this year's winners went to a panel of representatives from the media, design and brand communications world along with universities and academies. The chosen few were: freelance journalist Masatsugu Arimoto; freelance author and journalist Jürgen Lewandowski and Head of Transportation Interior Design at Hochschule Reutlingen, Professor Andrea Lipp.
