Bahrain Grand Prix: Rosberg takes pole for Mercedes

So much for the 2013 Mercedes being uncompetitive. Nico Rosberg put in a strong performance in Bahrain in qualifying for tomorrow’s F1 race, beating Sebastian Vettel in to second place and Fernando Alonso in to third. But whether this was a qualifying ‘special’ from Mercedes we won’t really know until tomorrow.

Has there been a car award in the last year for which the Evoque was eligible and didn’t come out on top? Hyundai has unveiled its HCD-14 Genesis concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The HCD-14 Genesis concept provides a glimpse of Hyundai's future design direction and features the carmaker's latest technologies, such as eye-tracking and gesture-based controls. At the front of the concept brushed metal grille surfaces feature with a deep vertical grille opening while LED daytime running lights are integrated into the bottom of the fender.
