Mercedes AMG changes leaders

There’s a changing of the guard at Mercedes AMG. Volker Morninweg is leaving to become head of the company’s van division on April 1. He’ll be replaced by Ola Kaellenius, who was most recently in charge of the Mercedes plant in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Final qualifying for the 2013 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne has been postponed until Sunday by torrential rain and poor light. Race Director Charlie Whiting called time on qualifying this morning after just the first knockout round when the heavy rain – and fading light – made it too dangerous to continue the knockout session.
