This 25+10 mfd. dual run capacitor is the perfect replacement for Dometic Duo-Therm part number 3100248.453 or 3100248453
Suitable for use in rooftop A/C units. Heavy duty 440 volt rating. Capacitor base measures 2" in diameter, and the overall height is 4 1/4". Note #1: A 126-page PDF copy of the Duo-Therm Air Conditioner & Heat Pump Service Manual is available for free download online. Simply copy and paste the title, and do a google search - it should be the first search result that comes up. Note #2: This capacitor is suitable for replacing either a round or oval model. The shape of the capacitor has no correlation to the electrical ratings. The microfarad (abbreviated mfd or uF) numbers must match your original capacitor. The higher-mfd terminal (marked "h" or "herm") goes to the hermetic compressor, and the lower-mfd terminal (marked "f" or "fan") goes to the fan motor. The common terminal will be marked "c" or "com". Note #3: This heavy duty 440 volt rated capacitor is suitable for replacing a standard 370 volt rated capacitor. GM and PSA sign a global strategic alliance (2012)
Wed, 29 Feb 2012GM and PSA Peugeot Citroen this evening announced a 'long-term and broad-scale global strategic alliance' which will see the three brands co-develop cars in Europe and, in some cases, globally. Opel/Vauxhall and Peugeot Citroen will start sharing vehicle platforms and components, with the first jointly developed models expected by 2016. The focus will be on small and medium sized cars, MPVs and crossovers, but could in future stretch to include vans and commercial vehicles.
Ram heavy-duty pickup gets higher towing rating
Wed, 09 Jan 2013Ram has fired the latest salvo in the ongoing pickup war between the domestic automakers, releasing what the brand claims is now best-in-class towing capacity for its 2013 heavy-duty pickups. The 2013 Ram 3500 is rated to tow a 30,000-pound trailer, up from a maximum towing capacity of 22,750 pounds for the same vehicle and powertrain setup in 2012. According to their respective Web sites, similarly equipped heavy-duty 3500 pickups from General Motors are rated at a towing capacity of 23,100 pounds, while Ford's F-350 similarly equipped is rated at 22,800 pounds.
