Inspired by Bentley's 'Speed' models of the 1920s, the new model features numerous tweaks to the GT's V12 power source and some design revisions all its own.
BMW confirms its hiring of former Opel product chief Frank Weber
Tue, 12 Apr 2011BMW AG confirmed it has hired Frank Weber, former head of product planning at General Motors Co.'s Opel/Vauxhall unit. Weber will become head of vehicle architecture and integration at BMW, a spokesman for the premium carmaker told Automotive News Europe today. The spokesman did not give details of when Weber will start at BMW.
Volvo commits to plug-in diesel hybrids in 2012

The 2012 replacement for the V70 - which won't necessarily be a conventional estate - will have a premium range-topper powered by a plug-in diesel-electric powertrain.
