Need for Speed Ford Mustang sells for $300,000
Tue, 29 Apr 2014The 900hp Ford Mustang GT as seen in the latest Need for Speed movie has sold at an auction in the US for $300,000 – that’s roughly £180,000. Unfortunately, the winning bidder might be disappointed to find out that in real life it doesn’t make anywhere near the 900hp claimed in the film, instead running a stock 420hp. College Exhibition: Coventry Degree Show 2006
Fri, 07 Jul 2006Transportation and product design students at Coventry University in England recently displayed their work in the school's summer degree show, one of the two graduation shows per year. A total of 74 students graduated in various fields including Automotive Design, Transport and Product Design, Vehicle Design, Boat Design and Consumer Product Design. With such a large body of graduating students, Coventry have wisely chosen to introduce a separate 'Selected Works' show this year for industry guests, which also opened to the public for one week at the end of June.
'Concept Cars by Bertone' 2014 Degler Calendar out now
Mon, 11 Nov 2013‘Concept Cars by Bertone' is the theme of the 2014 Degler Calendar by automotive photographer Pitor Degler Jablonski, which showcases some of the most important and unique prototypes designed by the coachbuilder. Through his photography Jablonski celebrates car design icons such as Nuccio Bertone's own racecar, advanced concepts such as the Stratos Zero and Marcello Gandini's Lamborghinis as well as the recent designs of Mike Robinson, Bertone's current brand and design director.
