Cunningham Corvette battle heads to courts
Wed, 19 Sep 2012UPDATED: The battle over ownership of one of the 1960 Chevrolet Corvettes raced at that year's 24 Hours of Le Mans by Briggs Cunningham has moved to the courts in Pennsylvania. The filings—in Cumberland County Court and U.S. District Court in Harrisburg—provide several details about the discovery and ownership of the long-lost car, including the sale price: $75,000.

But where Tesla’s USP is its long-range electric capabilities – and a desire to build cars for the market – Google’s goal is more technology orientated and is all about developing self-driving car technology that works in the real world. For the last few years, Google has been experimenting with existing cars kitted out with self-driving gubbins, but now they’ve taken the next step and built their own self-driving prototype.
