SRT Viper GTS-R takes to the track

The boys from SRT put a few hot laps on its 2013 Viper GTS-R on Friday in preparation for running with the American Le Mans Series. Team wheelman Marc Goossens was behind the wheel at the 2.279-mile, 14-turn Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, S.C. Wolfgang Egger outlines Audi's future design strategy

Audi is shifting its design strategy as it changes the way it designs and develops its cars. The carmaker's head of design Wolfgang Egger believes that a closer cohesion of the car's exterior and interior will create a ‘seamless entity' to help differentiate its models. The first example of the strategy is Audi's latest show car, the Crosslane Coupe, revealed at the Paris motor show in September.

BRP Design Center Inauguration

On September 10th, Canadian powersports specialist BRP inaugurated its new Design & Innovation Centre in Valcourt, Quebec (one hour south-east of Montreal, near the US border). This new 5000 m2 state-of-the-art building will house BRP's design and advanced concept teams working on all its brands and product families: the Can-Am spyders and ATVs, Lynx and Ski Doo snowmobiles, Sea Doo personal watercrafts and speedboats, and related lifestyle and accessories design. The team of 60 individuals includes transportation designers, product designers, graphic designers, engineers, human factors experts, mechanics, CAD technicians, modelers, molders, painters, and management.
