Vintage Doug Nash Overdrive

I was recently told this is FOMOCO
by the numbers on it. I have not confirmed.

Looks to be in good condition / all moving parts turn freely.

This is the description from when I purchased it in 2003 from the seller at that time.

(This is a Doug Nash .8 overdrive for GM trans. It has the factory rebuild tag with it still from 87. It has been sitting on a shelf for years. I don't really know what it fits and it has no wiring or anything with it. It is very clean and undamaged.)

This is advertised locally and I reserve the right to end auction until there is a bid.

Concept Car of the Week: Pontiac Banshee (1964)

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

In 1964, the Pontiac Motor Division was headed John DeLorean, who would go on to become one of the automotive industry's most divisive figures. He believed that Pontiac needed a compact, exciting car to compete with the newly launched Mustang and approved funding for the experimental Pontiac two-seat sports-car program, codenamed XP-833. Inspired by another GM show car, the rear-engined Corvair Monza GT from 1963, the lines of the XP-833 were a perfect example of the Coke-bottle bodystyle: long hood, short deck and sweeping fender curves.

Dacia 'to stay true to its budget roots'

Fri, 07 May 2010

The global marketing boss in charge of Dacia’s roll-out has promised that Renault’s budget brand won’t move upmarket. Many bargain car marques end up inching – or scrambling – upmarket, with slicker products, big price hikes and a desertion of their value promise. But Dacia promises it won't follow the likes of Skoda, Hyundai and Kia by starting cheap 'n' cheerful and then raising prices.

Skoda Citigo Sport LOOKS Sporty

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

The Skoda Citigo Sport has been revealed as a sporty take on Skoda’s little city car, with more aggressive looks and lowered suspension. So Skoda are making a virtue out of the lack of any power boost for the new Citigo Sport by calling it the ‘Seemingly Powerful’ Citigo with sporty styling, lowered suspension and new interior. It looks the part, it just doesn’t go any better than the standard Citigo with its 1.0 litre 60PS engine.
