This is a beautiful set of  Doug Thorley TRI-Y Headers for 1968 - 1972 Chevy Nova.  They have an excellent, beautiful shine, and have never been installed since they were remanufactured.

I bought the headers for about $650.  Eventually I shipped them to Cap's Bright Hot Coatings (Fresno, CA) to have them re-chrome the headers with CermaKrome, a metallic ceramic coating that polishes to a chrome like finish.  This coating is very durable and will withstand over 1300 f base metal temperatures.

I have pictures of my receipts showing that I paid over $300 to have CermaKrome put on the headers, it's an awesome finish that's durable and looks great.  I've put over a $1,000 into these headers, but I purchased these for a street performance car that I eventually sold before installing these headers.  They've been sitting on the shelf  Price lowered to $399 this is the lowest I can go. Free Shipping!

The Headers are specifically designed for Chevy Nova from 1968 - 1972

Automakers switch to new engine oil for more efficiency, better protection

Mon, 18 Oct 2010

Automakers are going to great lengths to get more miles per gallon from their vehicles and everything is being looked at--even the engine oil. Every 2011 General Motors car rolls off the assembly line with the engine filled with a new generation of oil. Other automakers, such as Ford Motor Co.

Ken Block plays with a MK II Escort!

Mon, 14 Sep 2009

Ken Block goes out to play with a 1978 MK II Escort Early Ford Escorts were capable of more smiles per mile – certainly on a budget – than anything else on the road at the time. My earliest fun with an Escort was even earlier than this in an Escort Mexico – which was a white, 1974 model. Huge fun and very quick by the standards of the day.
