Aston Martin creates three special-edition DB9s

Aston Martin has designed three special-edition DB9 models named Carbon Black, Quantum Silver and Morning Frost. The Carbon Black and Quantum Silver models are both sport editions with a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission and a remapped sports exhaust that provides a more evocative sound, the automaker said. Both cars come equipped with 19-inch, black 10-spoke wheels, a black grille and graphite tailpipes.

But now AML have finished playing with their stopwatch and declared the V12 Vantage S will get to 62mph in 3.9 seconds (0-60mph in 3.7s), an improvement of 0.3 seconds on the V12 Vantage and giving the V12 Vantage S the edge over the car we think it should be compared to – the new Jaguar F-Type V8 S.
