Top Gear Tonight: Burma Road Trip – yes, it’s Top Gear Christmas in March
Sun, 09 Mar 2014Wet in Burma in part 1 of the Top Gear Christmas Special Top Gear tonight – episode 6 of series 21 – isn’t actually part of the regular series twenty one (that was done and dusted with last week’s Porsche 918 Spyder episode) but is the first part of a two part Christmas Special Road Trip. Maserati GranTurismo S Auto gets a Sports Pack

It’s good looking in that slightly odd combination of butch and dainty that certain Italian cars manage so well, it’s performance is decent without being earth-shattering and – certainly compared to any other Italian you could consider remotely ’Exotic’ – it’s more sensibly priced, at the right side of £100k. But if there are criticisms to be levelled against the GrandTurismo S they perhaps revolve around its slightly ‘soft’ nature.
