Driver's side door latch for a C3 Corvette.  Will fit 1969-1977.  This is a used latch purchased from a vendor at Corvette show in St. Charles, IL but I did not need to use it as I was able to make an easy repair to mine.  Was told it came from a functioning door.  It is a genuine GM part made in the USA - not a cheap foreign made reproduction.  It is well lubricated and operates smoothly.

I have since sold my 1975 Stingray and no longer need to keep this as a spare.  Shipped to the lower 48 only.  Local pickup OK.  Thanks for looking.

Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR – the Unique RHD versions

Fri, 13 Feb 2009

The unique RHD Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR The CLK-GTR is a by-product of Mercedes’ involvement in the FIA GT1 class in the late ’90s. A condition of entry for cars was that road-going versions had to be made, so Mercedes (along with Porsche, who built the even rarer Porsche 911 GT1 to compete in the series) bit the bullet and produced a very limited run of the GTR. Despite a passing resemblance to a CLK, the only parts that were actually CLK were the grill and the dash housing.

These two recent events are on top of several months' worth of financial woes for one of the classic-car world's best-known auctioneers. AutoWeek reported in August that people from across the country were complaining that they had not been paid for cars sold at various Kruse International auctions.
