Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Frankfurt 2013 is all about efficiency for Toyota, celebrating 16 years and more than 5.5 million worldwide sales of its hybrid vehicles. So the Japanese firm has gone crazy to applaud its own technical innovation over the years, dropping a 414hp hybrid powertrain into its Yaris supermini this, is the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R concept. Peugeot 308

These are the first pictures of the forthcoming Peugeot 308 that replaces the 307.  The car will compete predominantly in the lower medium European C-sector along with the Opel Astra, Ford Focus, the class leading Volkswagen Golf, and its PSA sibling: the Citroen C4. The 308 is expected to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and be available at launch in 3 and 5 door hatchback body styles with other variants including an estate to follow. The design builds on the tall proportions established by its predecessor and some of the features that the 207 introduced as well as appearing to have been influenced by some Mercedes designs.

2013 Infiniti IPL G convertible officially announced at Pebble Beach

In an expected move, Infiniti has announced it will build a production version of the IPL G convertible concept seen at this year's New York Auto Show. The 2013 Infiniti IPL G convertible will likely share hardware with the IPL G coupe on sale now, and the power retractable hardtop used by the G37 convertible. IPL, which stands for Infiniti Performance Line, is the manufacturer's in-house performance department, serving as an extension of the Nissan NISMO works into the company's luxury division.
