| This professional grade duct seal compound seals conduit openings against drafts, dust, moisture and noise. Protects terminal boxes, pot heads and bushings from corrosive elements. Deadens switch gear panel noise. Dough-like compound is easily “thumbed” over holes and gaps. Will not harden or form a skin under normal conditions. Not for use outdoors. Viscosity: ASTM D-217 300-gram load - 7.0 -11.0; ASTM DS-S2 100-gram load - 9.0 -15.0. Temperature Range: Adheres at -20 °F (-29 °C). Will not slump after 1 hr. at 350 °F (175 °C). Global Automotive Forum hosts designer roundtable meeting in Chengdu, China
Wed, 19 Oct 2011The second Global Automotive Forum took place last week in the Jiaozhi international conference center in Chengdu, one of the most important economic and transportation centers in Western China. The two-day event was based around the theme of 'Crossing from Producing to Innovation Country' and was attended by more than 80 people from the global automotive industry. While most of the sessions revolved around the greater automotive industry in China, Car Design News was asked to organize a session of the forum centered on design, which included a 'roundtable meeting' for designers.

Used vehicle data specialists HPI says it has seen a rising number of customers fall prey to sellers passing on vehicles without a logbook, otherwise known as the V5C, leaving them vulnerable to a number of scams. De'Silva is responsible for designing the passenger cars for Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Volkswagen. He designed the 2008 Volkswagen Golf, the '10 Touareg and many others.
