Teen-created PSAs combat distracted driving

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Two widely held assumptions about 21st-century American teenagers is that they're too busy with their smartphones to have any interest in cars and that any who manage to find their way behind the wheel are too distracted to drive safely anyway. These generalizations are broad, unfair and perhaps even counterproductive -- yet they're reinforced every time distracted driving leads to a preventable tragedy. That's why we were glad to see young drivers take action by creating a series of anti-distracted-driving public safety announcements for the Teens Drive Smart Video Contest.

Driven: a week with a Chevrolet Volt

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

In Fall 2010, before the Volt went on sale in North America, we sampled an early build model and came away so impressed, we declared it the car for the digital age. Given the unique powertrain, we felt longer exposure to the Volt was therefore in order, so on a recent trip to Michigan, we lived with one for five days.

Mercedes G-Class Updated

Sat, 20 Jun 2009

The Mercedes G-Class has had some minor tweaks as it reaches its 30th birthday Don’t get too excited, though. These are not exactly extensive, but then the G-Class has always been about slow development, not huge change. So trim levels stay the same, and you still have the choice of the G350 CDi, the G50 and the G55 AMG.
