You are bidding for a set of Trike chassis set of plans. Using these plans, you can build your own experimental aircraft.

“Eagle” project was started in 2001 by aviation engineer and aircraft designer with about 20 years of experience in hangglider and ultralight building and flying. It is created especially for easy building from drafts and kits. Three prototypes: solo soaring, universal easy converted 1-2 placer for 2-stroke engine, and especially designed for auto GEO-Suzuki 1liter converted engine trikes are made and tested. Air Trikes Enterprises Canada has started commercial production of kits, chassis and ready to fly trikes.

“Eagle” design has some advantages comparatively with trikes existing in the North American market. Strong classical European-style triangle structure of the rear suspension, shock-absorbers for all wheels, low position of pilots make takeoff-landing and ground run more stable and safe. Compact layout provides excellent aerodynamics and keeps enough space that allows the installation of BRS, extra fuel, or luggage behind the pilot without aerodynamic penalties. Folded mast makes the wing installation quick and easy even for one person. Possibility to make and use it as a mono (legal FAR-103 ultralight), two-seater, using different wings, engines, gas tanks, wheels etc., it is adjustable to all your wishes. Standard components from the US market (6061T6 tubes, sheet metal, stainless bolts and lock nuts), affordable hand-tool technology, only 1-2 steel welded parts (front fork and GEO mount) well thought-out design allow to modify, repair, or easy built it at home from plans. High weight efficiency. For example, standard 1-2 place trike chassis with 4 shock–absorbers and 5-galllon gas tank weights only 77-80 lbs!  Excellent trike for beginners, cross-county pilots and flight schools.

100+ trikes are built by Air Trikes and our clients. We displayed them at different US-Canadian airshow included Sun n' Fun and Oshkosh. There is even a small “factory” in  India building Eagles there, including 3-place version! But there are ways to improve even a good aircraft. Solo trike was redesigned first in 2008, and the new chassis was made. Now Eagle-GEO (for Suzuki G10 and G13) is done. It is more “builder friendly”, plans are more detailed and précised. Big tires,100HP 4-stroke G13BB engine are standard. If you have 2-3 week time, basic tools& skills - spend about 10000$ and build E-AB trike flying like 50-60K$ 912S trikes. Sounds too good to be true? Try! My builders' support is included, parts (wings, engines, propellers, seats, wheels etc.) available.

Plans are made using AutoCad system (*.dwg files) and will be sent printed by regular mail. Don’t bid if you are not going to pay for 5 days after this auction is closed! Ask questions, look my feedback, other auctions and bid with confidence, but only serious bidders please. For winners – please write me which set of plans you want me to send – Solo, 2-place for 2-stroker/universal or 2-place for Geo-Suzuki conversion engine. If not specified for 3 days after paying, 2-place universal set of plans will be sent.

Sun, 11 Jan 2009

General Motors pulled perhaps a surprise at the Detroit Auto Show Sunday morning, unveiling an eye-catching two-door Cadillac concept powered by a "future evolution" of the Chevrolet Volt's electric powertrain. Called the Converj, the Cadillac will have a range of 40 miles on electricity, with a potential total range of 700 miles after a generator kicks in. GM says the powertrain, formerly known as E-Flex, is now called Voltec, and could be used in a variety of applications.
