Up for auction is a completely refurbished Early Bronco speedometer and gauge cluster.  These units fit all Early model Broncos from 1966 - 1977.

The following work has been performed:

  • Complete dis-assembly and bead blasting of all metal parts.
  • Automotive primer applied on all metal parts.
  • Painted inside/out with automotive paint to match the original argon silver color.
  • Front bezel clear coated for extra protection.
  • Speedometer and odometer have been cleaned and lubricated and tested.
  • Odometer has been reset to zero.
  • All gauges have been cleaned and tested.
  • All speedometer and gauge needles have been repainted with UV resistant needle paint.
  • New glass installed
  • Speedometer and gauges are thoroughly tested after the reassembly process and before shipping for proper operation.

While I have a no return policy, if you receive a speedometer that has a part that doesn't work; send the entire unit back to me and I will correct the problem or replace the part and return; I will pay for the postage to return it back to you once it has been repaired.  Please understand that while these units are painstakingly refurbished they are not a concours restoration so there may be cosmetic flaws in these over 40 year old items, I also am not a professional photographer but try to do my best to show 3 pictures of my items including the back which is more than most auctions provide.

I am also interested in buying any old cores you may have working or not or speedometer parts; I normally pay $40-$75 for these depending on condition and what parts are missing.  While I appreciate the inquiries, no I do not refurbish these for anyone but myself for resale.

It was supposed to be a nice, mild-mannered going-to-school car that twin brothers Tom and Kent Ng would share. But it didn't take long for the Houston residents' hot-rod tendencies to get the better of them and raise the ire of their father. "We tried to modify it immediately," Tom said.

Pronounced ‘ex-ay-oh’ (derived from the Latin exire, meaning ‘to go beyond’ and breaking away from Seat’s city-based nomenclature) the new saloon and estate will rely heavily on the underpinnings of the previous generation Audi A4. It will be the first time that the Spanish carmaker will have a model for Leon and Altea drivers looking for something larger and more aspirational.

Top Gear Series - back for Series 17 on Sunday As the nice man from the BBC who sent us the Top Gear Series 17 photos said, “The world’s favourite programme about cars and middle aged men falling over returns for a brand new series”; this Sunday 26th June 8pm. And what goodies do they have in store for us in the new TG series? Well, we already know about the Nissan LEAF jolly to Lincoln and the Hot Hatch expedition to Lucca (including a detour to drive the Monaco F1 Circuit), but neither of those will be in episode one.
