Fox Marketing prepares a supercharged Lexus CT 200h for the New York Motor Show We’ve constantly bemoaned that Lexus are so obsessed with hybrids that they’ve forgotten there’s a world of people who want more from a car than a mere transport appliance. Which is rather sad. More than the rest of the range, we’ve complained that the Lexus CT 200h is lumbered with the 1.8 litre Atkinson cycle hybrid from the Prius as its only powertrain option.

New Subaru Legacy production version teased for Chicago Auto Show

The new Subaru Legacy is being teased Subaru have moved quickly from showing a concept version of an all new Legacy at the Los Angeles Auto Show,  with the first tease for the new Legacy revealed ahead of a debut at the Chicago Auto Show in a week’s time. Looking at the tease (above) it does seem to have a very similar shape to the concept version we saw at Los Angeles,. But if Subaru’s recent form is anything to go by, the production Legacy will be far less impressive than the concept.

A report out today from the Department for Business, Innovations and Skills slams the 'Phoenix Four's involvement in the business and is highly critical of the way they withdrew £42 million in salaries and pensions despite the company's parlous financial position.
