It forecasts a 27% drop in 911, Boxster, Cayman and Cayenne sales to around 34,000 units in the six months to the end of January 2009 (Financial Times, subscription required)• Ford wants Washington to do more to stimulate car sales, after posting a record loss of nearly $14.6 billion earlier this week (Detroit News)• Honda's quarterly profit has crashed by 90% – forcing the Japanese car maker to halve its annual profit target (Detroit Free Press)Thursday 29 January 2009• Ford of Europe is a bright spot in the Blue Oval's quarterly results today, making $1.06 billion pre-tax profit in 2008 (up from $997m in 2007). Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore (2011)

This is the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore, just unveiled at the 2011 Qatar motor show. The bicolore bit – essentially this is a Lamborghini Gallardo available with a two-tone finish. The roof, pillars, engine hood and rear spoiler are painted black, while the body is available in a choice of five colours: Giallo Midas (yellow), Arancio Borealis (orange), Grigio Telesto (grey), Bianco Monocerus (white) and Blu Caelum (blue).

New Hyundai i30 3-Door: Price from £13,995

Hyundai has announced that the new i30 3-door – the ‘sportier’ i30, will cost from £13,995 in the UK and come in three trim levels - Classic, Active, Sport and Sport Nav. Cosmetically, the i30 3-door gets differentiated from its 5-door sibling by a new front bumper with bigger spoiler, a new back end…and the loss of a couple of doors. There’s also new fogs, new grill and a sport looking back end with LED lights.
