New Volvo C30 R-design (2010) revealed
Mon, 14 Sep 2009Volvo is launching an R-design version of the new C30 The R-Design body kit on the C30 is painted in the same colour as the car for a seamless integration, and the visual illusion that the C30 is actually much lower tha the 10mm suspension drop. Five-spoke Cactus alloys are fitted, and the interior gets new upholstery. Just a shame there are no power upgrades.
Manzoni, Ingenlath and Hildebrand to speak at Auto Design Prague
Tue, 26 Aug 2014The fourth annual Auto Design Prague conference will take place on 18 September at the National Technical Library in Prague-Dejvice. The event is open to professionals and the wider public, and will include a program of 10 presentations by designers including vice president of Ferrari design, Flavio Manzoni; Volvo design director Thomas Ingenlath; Jaguar's advanced design director, Julian Thompson, and Qoros head of design, Gert Hildebrand. Worst car advert clichés named
Fri, 22 Aug 2014CAR BUYERS are being turned off by clichéd adverts and the phrase ‘one careful lady owner’ has been named top of the flops in a recent survey. Second in the list of least liked phrases is ‘baby forces sale’, while third goes to ‘genuine reason for sale’. Other key phrases used by car sellers that can actually turn away possible buyers include ‘first to see will buy’, ‘mint condition’ and ‘priced to sell’.
