Interior Motives Conference 2012 Day 1
Sun, 22 Apr 2012The annual Interior Motives China conference - this year held in Beijing to coincide with the motor show - was opened by the official Yang Shi Min. He welcomed the many delegates by acknowledging that discussion and debate will be the key element in the future of automotive design. He stated his belief that "discussion gives the opportunity for wisdom to sparkle", and opened the proceedings by encouraging all to share their wisdom with each other.

We did think there was a chance McLaren would try to steal Ferrari’s thunder by revealing the convertible version of the MP4-12C at Goodwood this last weekend, but they didn’t. But today the McLaren 12C Spider (not the MP4-12C Spider) is officially revealed, and by the look of it no one will be buying the MP4-12C any more.

With the Pebble Beach petrolhead jolly about to kick-off in Monterey, Rolls Royce has revealed a limited edition Phantom Coupe – the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator Edition – which will debut at Quail and celebrates Charles Rolls’ passion for aviation.
