The EcoTuningBox works by modifying the electronic signals that control fuel pressure produced by the pump in order to optimize engine performance. The EcoTuningBox senses and responds to changes in engine load/speed throughout the range of acceleration. With the EcoTuningBox, pressure accumulates faster in the rail and is readily maintained to deliver more power and torque. The result is smooth and responsive acceleration that produce sportier handling. The increased torque produced by the EcoTuningBox enables the engine to operate more efficiently, so fuel comsumption is minimized.

The EcoTuningBox is fully digital and includes a signal variation switch with multiple settings, so there's never a problem finding the setting that's best for your vehicle. You can even turn the EcoTuningBox off while it is still connected.

The EcoTuningBox has been programmed for optimal performance. Power gains vary depending on engine and ECU type. EcoTuningBox users can expect a power improvement ranging from 25% to 55% greater than gains achieved with our standard EcoTuningBox. Essentially, the power improvement is linear to acceleration; however, a greater boost is provided when there's an immediate demand for acceleration. This reduces the time required to pass other vehicles, and, in some cases, means less time exposure to oncoming traffic.

Despite its potential for tremendous power improvement, the EcoTuningBox has been programmed to provide better fuel efficiency. Its unique programming increases power when needed most. During acceleration, injection time required to achieve higher speeds is substantially reduced. This minimizes fuel consumption. In fact, independent testing revealed fuel economy savings from 15% to 30% at signal variation setting.

EcoTuningBox  is dual technology. In one case there are two devices: EcoTuningBox and ACP-2.
The operating principle is based on the creation of the high-frequency processing of air on the incoming air in the engine induction system. Upon that, the nitrogen breakdown is taking place, not only in atoms, but on fragments, representing other chemicals N2--->C,O,H.     These elements, especially oxygen and hydrogen are undergo an energy release reaction (phase transfer of the higher type, hereafter PTHT) with electrums – energy generators. Participation of the nitrogen in PTHT increases the power of energy release reaction by means of the additional energy of atomic particles connection in atoms of the specified agents. Such combustion reaction is called a nitric reaction. Nitric reaction products are, generally, aqueous vapor (water) Н2О, partially, oxygen О2, carbon C and in a less degree СО2, СО, NOХ and other agents. Besides the mixture burns down faster, its fuller combustion takes place.

Technical result, obtained by usage of this equipment, allows reducing the fuel consumption, increasing the power and ecological compatibility of vehicle. Effective fuel combustion also prevents carbon formation on valves, cylinders, pistons, lambda probes and increased durability of accelerators. The change to the petrol with the lower octane number and total refusal from the usage of additions, increasing of the fuel octane rating, is possible.

Externally, the instrument represents the signal generator that, by means of the high voltage current impact on the air, divides the nitrogen and oxygen molecules into atoms, ensuring increase of treated air reactivity and involves the nitrogen into combustion process.
As a consequence of this, the access of the chemically more active treated air to each separate fuel molecule is ensured, that, largely, facilitates the increase of the fuel combustion completeness and engine efficiency increase. I. e., the power and torsion torque are increasing. The torsion torque increase can be used in two ways: for more energetic acceleration or in case of the current driving profile to get fuel economy.

2011 VW Jetta gets launched

Tue, 15 Jun 2010

The 2011 Volkswagen Jetta Volkswagen reckons that this latest Jetta is no longer a Golf with a boot to make a saloon but is instead a completely new stand-alone model, even though under its new skin – inspired by the VW NCC (New Compact Coupe) concept at New York this year – it sits on a stretched (by 70mm) Golf platform. To make the Jetta stand apart from its Golf sibling VW has fitted the Jetta with an all new dashboard with aluminium highlights and a leather trimmed steering wheel. All Jettas will come equipped with AirCon and CD stereo with touchscreen SatNav an option.

Introducing the 1985 Saleen Mustang GT

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Steve Saleen has never been a tuner. Sure, he made his name picking cars off factory production lines and modifying them -- heavily -- for enthusiasts craving something a little bit different. But what he does is more akin to remanufacturing than mere hopping-up, as this review of the 1985 Saleen Mustang GT from the Aug.

Ford S-Max 2010 and Ford Galaxy 2010 revealed

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

The Ford S-Max and Galaxy get a facelift - and new engines - for 2010 Ford have been having a play with the Galaxy and the S-Max, and have revealed a facelift for 2010 but, more importantly, the Ecoboost engines. The new Ecoboost engine does that great trick of offering more power for less emissions and decent economy. The new 2,0 litre model – badged up as the STCi – manages to deliver 200bhp and 221lb/ft of torque which gives a 0-60mph of not a lot over 8 seconds, an improvement of around 2.0 seconds on the outgoing 2.3 litre.
