SPECIFICATIONS The Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake Manifold air-gap design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power. It includes rear water outlets, two distributor clamp locations and nitrous bosses. The heater outlet boss is angled for a proper fit over the valve cover. There are no provisions for exhaust-heated chokes and no exhaust crossover. They come with a natural finish. The runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 RPM higher than Performer air-gap manifolds, from idle to 5,500 RPM up to 1,500-6,500 RPM. ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Fiat 500 gets dressed up by Mopar
Thu, 28 Jul 2011Chrysler is cranking up its Mopar parts unit to make it easier to customize the diminutive Fiat 500. Mopar will have more than 150 parts for the Fiat, including a Wi-Fi router to turn your microcar into a wireless hot spot. "The Fiat 500 is one of the most accessorized vehicles in Europe," said Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC's service, parts and customer-care brand.

Which I suppose is the price we pay for allowing the Conservatives to become Labour Lite instead of having real conviction politicians. Still, it throws up some interesting conflicts.
Flying car gets regulatory clearance

Terrafugia, a Massachusetts company developing a "roadable aircraft" named the Transition, just received special exemptions from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that will help it move the vehicle move forward to production. NHTSA will allow the Transition to be outfitted with plastic windows rather than standard automotive safety glass.
