Had it on my truck but sold the truck. I saw great increases in power performance and fuel mileage with it. Its definitely worth the money.

Part Number: 23004

Edge's premier product line, the Juice with Attitude controls timing and duration of injector firing for your Duramax to deliver maximum performance, improved driveability and better fuel economy. Get on-the-fly adjustability and monitoring capabilities at your fingertips. This plug-in module is easy to install and comes with factory style connections.

KEY FEATURES:
• 5 on-the-fly Adjustable Power Levels
• Touch-of-a-Button Control
• Additional 125 HP and 240 ft lb Torque
• Increases Fuel Economy*
• Greatly Improves Driveability and Performance
• Monitors Various Transmission Functions

The Edge Juice/Attitude is a highly sophisticated package capable of dramatically improving your Duramax's driveability, towing, mileage and, most importantly, POWER.

Using factory-style connections in just thirty minutes you can add five levels of adjustable power ranging from 25-125 horsepower and increase torque up to 240 ft. lbs. The Juice greatly improves responsiveness and driveability, while at the same time increasing fuel economy.

The Juice communicates along the engine's CAN-BUS data stream, from which it receives vital engine, transmission, and fuel system information. This enables the Juice to provide smooth and precise power curves that are truly custom, rather than just an offset from stock.
The Juice also monitors the transmission slippage when the torque converter clutch is engaged. The level of additional power is decreased if any slippage is detected. This prevents damage from being caused to the transmission, and also prevents the power train from erroneously generating fault codes and entering "limp mode".

The Juice also limits the amount of power increase during transmission shifts when the torque converter clutch is engaged and also when the torque converter clutch is being engaged. This allows the torque converter clutch to engage without slipping.

When used in conjunction with the Attitude monitor you can control the five power levels on-the-fly from inside your truck. The Attitude displays all the information a complete set of gauges would and will automatically monitor and display exhaust gas temperature (EGT), turbo boost and transmission slip and de-fuel the engine to prevent excessive EGT, boost levels or transmission slippage. It also displays 0 -- 60 times, quarter mile times and actual speed if you are using non-stock tires as well as a host of other parameters. The Juice communicates directly with the engine's ECM, from which it receives vital engine and fuel system information. This enables the Juice to provide smooth and precise power in real time under any driving condition. Imagine, within minutes you get incredible power gains, an increase in mileage and the equivalent of a complete set of gauges with one simple installation!

The following power gains are representative of an actual test vehicle. These gains were measured on a SuperFlow Dyno at an altitude of 4400 ft above sea level, and represent power delivered to the rear wheels of the test truck. The only modification made to the test truck was the addition of the Edge Juice module. Power gains may vary based on vehicle and geographical location.

Level 0: Stock
Level 1: 40 Horsepower - 100 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 2: 60 Horsepower - 120 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 3: 75 Horsepower - 170 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 4: 90 Horsepower - 200 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 5: 125 Horsepower - 240 Foot Pounds of Torque

Your Attitude monitor allows you to monitor the performance of your engine's vital engine components and output values. The following parameters can be displayed on the main Attitude screen (maximum 4 at one time):
• Backdown %
• EGT (exhaust gas temp)
• Engine Load %
• RPM
• Speed MPH
• Boost
• Throttle Position
• Torque Converter Clutch Status
• Transmission Slip
• Current Gear

That Attitude can sound an alert when certain engine parameter levels are met. The following alerts are available:
• EGT
• Boost
• Engine Temp
• Speed

Keep track of your performance by recording maximum/minimum for a variety of parameters including:
• Max Engine Temp F
• 0-60 times
• ¼ mile times
• Max RPM
• Max Speed
• Backdown %

The Juice alone provides the following power gains with toggle switch:
Level 1: 40 Horsepower - 100 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 2: 60 Horsepower - 120 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 3: 75 Horsepower - 170 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 4: 90 Horsepower - 200 Foot Pounds of Torque

IAM lobbies Labour for road casualty reduction targets

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

THE INSTITUTE of Advanced Motorists has called on the Labour Party to back the reintroduction of targets for reducing injuries and deaths on the road. The road safety organisation renewed its calls for targets to be reintroduced at the political party's annual conference in Brighton. An IAM survey of local councillors earlier this year showed that those affiliated with Labour were, in the IAM’s estimation, the most committed to road safety.

Renault Dezir concept (2010) first official pictures

Mon, 05 Jul 2010

These are the first pictures of the Renault Dezir, a sporty Clio-sized electric concept set to be unveiled at the Paris motor show in September 2010. This is the first car produced under the watch of new design director Laurens van den Acker, who's charged with reinvigorating the Renault range after Patrick le Quement's departure. The Dezir concept car heralds a new design language for Renault, which has seen the small car market become increasingly chic (think Citroen DS3) yet it's soldiered on with just the Clio and, now, the Wind Roadster.

Skoda Fabia

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

Skoda gave us its first indication of the new Fabia's design direction at the Geneva show earlier this year. There, its new city car's lines were upscaled to fit the VisionC coupé concept, memorable as much for its nuclear green paint job as its sharpened surfaces. As a result, the third-generation Fabia's design springs few surprises.
