Electronic Bilge Pump Switch Model 230-24, 24 Volt, US $44.50, image 1
Condition:New Brand:water witch Manufacturer Part Number:230-20

Instead of an unreliable and short-lived mechanical float switch, why not use the original Electronic
Bilge Pump Switch? The Water Witch 217, 230 or 230-24 is a submersible  electronic bilge pump
switch which allows boat owners to forever rid themselves of the archaic outdated float switch. They
have no moving parts, requires no adjustments and works in an oily bilge. This eliminates the
chance of your battery dying or your pump burning out because of a failed mechanical switch. Water
need only touch the lower sensor for 6-8 seconds to activate the switch. The delay eliminates pump
stutter and once water has left the sensor,  the switch continues to run the pump an additional 14
seconds to clear the output hose. Temperature, humidity or electrical noise will not affect this switch,
nor will the 230 interfere with other electronics. This switch comes with an unprecedented 7 year limited warranty and is in use by both the Canadian and U.S. Coast Guards.

Tesla Model X SUV delayed until 2015

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Tesla has revealed that its Model X SUV – based on the Model S – will be delayed until 2015 so Tesla can concentrate on Model S sales. Despite plenty of cynicism in the car industry that Tesla could deliver their Model S saloon at all, never mind at a reasonable cost, Tesla has confounded its critics by not only launching the Model S, but seemingly taking as many orders as it can handle. On the face of it, that’s not surprising.

Nissan Patrol breaks obscure Guinness World Record

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

The Nissan Patrol, a cooler-looking version of the Infiniti QX80 with a Nissan front end, broke a Guinness World Record on Thursday at Sharjah International Airport in the UAE. The nearly 3-ton truck pulled a 170.9-ton cargo plane for more than 164 feet (50 meters), breaking the previous record for “Heaviest aircraft pulled by any production vehicle” by 15 tons. The previous record was attributed to the Volkswagen Touareg that pulled a Boeing 747 at 155 tons.
