I have a used Electrosystems Starter Core starter core removed in Nov 2009 from my 78 Piper Turbo Lance. The starter was on a Lycoming TI0-540 SER. The starter was removed when I had an issue with its cranking strength. It turned out to have some screws loose. I am not sure if this created damage. I think my mechanic should have tightened the screws or bolts and re-installed. Any way I am listing it for sale to an experimental builder or owner of a 300hp plane that needs a starter. I do not know if it works but believe it would take little to rebuild if necessary. For sale as is.

Honda NSX Concept GT takes on Suzuka

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Honda hinted at the second coming of the NSX sports car in 2011, before bringing a concept to the Detroit auto show in January of 2012. Not more than two months later, the company said it will also go racing with the hybrid all-wheel-drive supercar. This has finally come to pass: On Monday, Honda uploaded a video to its Japanese YouTube channel, showing the Honda NSX Concept-GT -- the racing version -- in action at the Suzuka Circuit.

More Teslas make electric migration

Last week, the father-daughter team of John and Jill Glenney completed the first cross-country drive in a Tesla using the company's new network of Superchargers to refuel. Yesterday, a pair of Tesla Model S sedans driven by a rotating squadron of 15 company employees set what they hope will be an electric record for cross-country travel. That team arrived in New York City Sunday morning Feb.

Driving for a Cause: California man to cross America in ’32 Ford for charity

Thu, 23 Apr 2009

A common rite of passage is the cross-country road trip, the quintessential way for young Americans to get in touch with themselves and their country before the worries and responsibilities of life come calling. But a 59-year-old California man is blitzing the United States for a different reason: charity. Dave Schaub, the founder of a Bay Area meat market, is driving 9,800 miles in nine days--or 216 hours, during which he
