Elto Outboard Motor Wood Boat Rudder Twin 1925 Booklet on 2040-parts.com
North Manchester, Indiana, US
In 1925, to promote the popular Elto Light Twin (rudder twin) outboard motor, Ole Evinrude published a colorful and entertaining 32 page booklet. This “highest quality” reproduction captures the flavor of the era at a fraction of the cost of an original copy (if you can find one). It has also been graphically improved from the 83 year old soiled original to appear almost new. The booklet contains the Ole Evinrude ELTO story, the quality features of this 3 H.P. motor, the “easy starting” characteristics, benefits of rudder steering, the functions of the “Propello-Pump”, trips to faraway places using the Elto motor, plus complete detailed mechanical descriptions and specifications of the motor. The center spread of the booklet contains exquisite color drawings of the Elto rudder twin. The back of the booklet contains pricing information and extra equipment available. Every page contains color and fascinating stories….Ole Evinrude not only made great motors, he also knew how to make you want one. This reproduction booklet measures 5 ¼” x 8” and is printed on very high quality paper. Anyone who owns, or wants to own, an old Elto Ruddertwin will greatly enjoy this booklet. You truly won’t be disappointed to have this as part of that Elto display. Starting bid $6.99, shipping $3.50

Deloitte interviews 677 'millenials,' concludes they're broke
Mon, 20 Jan 2014Until artisanal, sustainable, locally sourced craft-beer bars can upend themselves from their Brooklyn brownstones and directly to your Park Slope loft entrance, it turns out that today's youthful generation will still need to buy cars to get places. In fact, they might even be picky about what they spend time in, which means that young people, even "millennials," are doing research on cars and forming their own opinions as smart consumers. Hey, doesn't that sound familiar?
LENNON'S FIRST CAR UNDER THE HAMMER
Thu, 10 Oct 2013THE FIRST car bought by John Lennon after he passed his driving test is being offered for sale at auction next month. The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe was bought by the Beatle in 1965 and is expected to sell for between 120,000 euros (£99,987) and 170,000 euros (£141,000). Lennon's biographer, Philip Norman, described how car dealers descended on the singer's home when the news emerged that he had passed his test and offered him a "gleaming smorgasbord" of luxury cars.
BMW Z4 M Sport Package released
Mon, 14 Dec 2009BMW is to debut the M Sport Package for the Z4 at the Detroit Auto Show Back in September we brought you some pictures of what at first glance appeared to be a BMW Z4M, despite BMW making it clear that they are not going to build an M car this time round. But it actually turned out to be a Z4 with M Sport Package zapping round the Nurburgring looking, to all intents and purposes, like a new hot Z4. Almost three months on BMW has finally got round to revealing the M Sport Package for the Z4 which will – just like the BMW Z4 sDrive35is we reported on yesterday – debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2010.
