About this part

You are bidding on an engine computer that will fit the vehicles listed below in the Fit / Interchange section. Please match the part numbers listed in the above notes section before ordering as some vehicles use multiple ECU for the drivetrain control. Our engine computers come with a 120 day warranty. This is a parts replacement warranty, if the part fails while under warranty, we will send a replacement. We only save computers from cars that we can run and the check engine light does not come on. Some computers need to be programmed by the dealer before they will work for you, please verify this with your local dealer if you do not know.

We ship all computers in a clear inspection bag so you can inspect and verify the computer is the one you need, once you open the bag you cannot return the item.

This part is also called the brain box, ECU, PCM by some folks. We ship all items within 24 hours of payment.

We do take credit cards in house and over the phone. Balance must be paid within 7 days of end of auction unless prior arrangements are made. Local pickup is not an problem! A: Sorry, but you cannot. This car has been stripped and disassembled already. The title has been turned over to the State of MN declaring the vehicle for salvage use only.

A: Absolutely, we are an automotive salvage yard. All parts you see in the vehicle pics are for sale. Keep in mind that the pictures were taken when we received the vehicle, so the part you need could be sold already. You can check this by clicking on the vehicle image. The 100EX concept on which the production car is based stole the 2004 Geneva show too, and features which we all thought would only be seen on the concept, such as the teak ‘decking’ on the hood cover and the rear-hinged suicide doors, have made it to the finished car. Production starts at Goodwood this summer.

Ford tests electric-vehicle sounds on Facebook

Sure, if it were up to us, every car would sound like a Lamborghini Aventador or a McLaren Formula One race car. And while those specific options aren't available (yet),Ford is using its Facebook page to let fans vote on sounds to be made by the electric Focus. Since EVs are so quiet, Ford needs to give the Focus electric some sound for safety's sake--to draw the attention of people who are blind people, those using cell phones or iPods and even for animals.

New Honda NSX will debut at Detroit Acura in the US has revealed it will debut the new Honda NSX Concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2012. We reported just over a week ago that it was starting to look very likely that the new Honda NSX would bow in as a concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2012. And now Acura US – Honda’s posh brand in the States – has confirmed the NSX will arrive as expected.
