Original Escort Coiled Smartcords, They are compatible with all the latest Escort & Beltronics radar detectors.

Pig Cop Speedgun

The new Smart-cord Mute Display works with special circuitry built into your radar detector.  A Power-On LED lights only when your detector is plugged in and turned on.  (Note: When they are turned off, there will be no lights lit on the Smart-cord).  A larger bright Alert LED will flash whenever your detector is picking up a signal.  A convenient Mute button lets you silence the audio during an alert.  It's the perfect addition to avoid reaching the detector's mute button on your windshield.  For night driving, put your radar detector in the dark mode, using the Smart-cord for visual alerts.  Other drivers won't know you have a detector.

Ford announces new Kuga models

Mon, 01 Dec 2008

Slotting in as the base model is a 2wd 2.0 TDCi which has a Co2 output of just 159g/km. This is a crucial point for businesses when the regulations change in April 2009. By coming in at under 160g/km the new Kuga will be eligible for a 20% writing down allowance, as opposed to the 10% for cars over 160g/km.

Nissan to open new Global Headquarters Gallery

Thu, 06 Aug 2009

Nissan, which opened its new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, last weekend (coinciding with the unveiling of the automaker's new electrically-propelled Leaf), will open a new gallery dedicated to its products on August 8th. Just as German automakers BMW and Porsche have shrines dedicated to their respective brands, Nissan's new gallery will feature exhibits of its current products, classic models and cars from its racing heritage. The new gallery - which boasts an area four times larger than the previous Nissan gallery in the company's former headquarters in Higashi Ginza - occupies 4000m2 of space on the first floor of the new building.

Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Express (1987)

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

A fantastic selection of concept cars from the ‘80s were featured in Back to the Future II such as the Pontiac Pursuit, the Ford Probe or the Saab EV-1, but my personal favorite was the Chevrolet Express that almost ran over Marty upon his arrival in the year 2015. Before being a movie extra, the Express was presented in 1987 as another attempt from GM to adapt aircraft engineering to automotive requirements. GM had been experimenting with gas turbines for more than 20 years, dating back to the 370hp XP-21 Firebird from 1954, but that concept was quite primitive compared to its younger brother.
