Great for all electric vehicles!  Tiny 7 x 3 x 1 inch size makes it easy to fit these cells into almost ANY car.  They are smaller than most pouch cells, WITHOUT the need for structural support or protection... makes installation fast and easy!   

At about 1.3 pounds each, they have a very high energy density.  They are also extremely fireproof, and will not go into thermal runaway until at least 530 F -- nearly double the temperature of the 18650-based batteries!  They also have a 4000+ cycle life, and can be discharged at up to 30c for short bursts.  An economical cell with GREAT performance for smaller cars!

Saab finds a buyer

Bankrupt automaker Saab has found a buyer. But instead of picking up where the Swedish firm left off, the buyer plans to use Saab's resources for the production of electric cars. The new owners of Saab, a Chinese-Swedish investment group with Japanese backing called National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS), did not release details on how much it paid for Saab or how much it planned to invest in the company.

Land Rover marks 1 million Range Rovers with charity donation

Land Rover commemorated the production of Range Rover No. 1,000,000 by donating a car to Britain's Help for Heroes charity, which helps wounded war veterans and their families. The charity plans to sell the car at an auction later this year.
