The VW Golf GTI Adidas at Worthersee The Worthersee Tour is a big customisers event for Volkswagens held every year in May in Worthersee in Austria. It’s been a feature on the calendar since 1982 and was originally a meet up for owners of the original Golf GTI. Over the years it has become much more and we see all sorts of cars from the VW group such as the seven Audi A1 specials this year and the Audi Q5 Worthersee Concept last year.

This isn’t a record that’s quite as daft as some of the records that are claimed for the Nurburgring (there almost seems to be a specific category of ‘Record’ time to fit every car maker’s needs), but it does seem a bit obscure. Mazda prices 2012 Mazda5 from $19,990

Mazda will sell its six-passenger 2012 Mazda5 van for a base price of $19,990, including shipping, when it goes on sale in January. The 2012 Mazda5, which Mazda calls a multi-activity vehicle, saw its North American debut at the Los Angeles auto show earlier this month. Mazda increased the base price by $730 compared to the 2010 Mazda5.
