This was removed from a 1981, 175 HP Evinrude Outboard that had little compression. It is assumed that this part is functional as the engine would run briefly before we disassembled it. In haste, the mechanic clipped the ends of the wiring. The connections were not a plug, but rather basic eye connectors.

It is assumed that this part is functional as the engine would run briefly before we disassembled it. In haste, the mechanic clipped the ends of the wiring. The connections were not a plug, but rather basic eye connectors. I have not table tested this unit. It contains 4 wires from each side. The price reflects the condition.
