Amko Leenarts has been appointed Director of Global Interiors Design Strategy at Ford Motor Company, effective from 1 June 2012. Leenarts will be tasked with developing the future interior design strategy for both the Ford and Lincoln brands worldwide, working alongside the company's global leadership team and reporting directly to J Mays, Group Vice President of Global Design and Chief Creative Officer at Ford Motor Company. He will be based in the company's Merkenich studio in Germany.

We’re now getting close to the first major European Motor Show of the year – some would say the most important motor show of the lot – the Geneva Motor Show which kicks off for the press on 2nd March and runs until 14th March. BMW to launch app for music on demand

BMW is partnering with online-music-service provider MOG to develop an application that allows on-demand music to be streamed inside its cars. The service launches with the BMW 6-series this fall. The MOG app for the BMW Apps option has on-demand streaming with unlimited, ad-free listening; mobile storage for music, and the ability to search, tag songs or listen to curated content.
