Northumbria University Degree Show 2008

Students graduating from the Northumbria University BA (Hons) Transportation Design course based in Newcastle in the north east of England have shown their work at an exhibition entitled ‘New Designers'. Held the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London, the exhibition featured a series of schools displaying various thesis projects from their Art and Design programs. 2013 New York F1 Grand Prix cancelled

The 2013 Grand Prix of America in New Jersey has been dropped as organisers run out of time to prepare for the New York street F1 event. With Bernie Ecclestone pushing to get America to fall in love with F1, a headline F1 act on the streets of New York – a Monaco GP for the colonials – looked like a plan. But it’s a plan that’s now been postponed until at least 2014 after Bernie plugged the plug on organisers as they need more time to prepare for what will, by any measure, be a huge logistical task.

2012 Honda Fit is quieter but not much different

The five-door Honda Fit subcompact gets a quieter interior for 2012. The Sport model has more standard features and available hands-free Bluetooth. All 2012 Fit models have added measures for sound insulation in the floor and front fenders and thicker corner-window glass.
