CDN/GM-PATAC competition deadline extended
Fri, 08 Feb 2013We're now three months into the CDN-GM/PATAC Interactive Design Competition China, and here at CDN we're excited to see some many strong entries coming in. Because there has been such a flurry of quality entries leading up to the first round deadline, we're happy to announce that the deadlines have been adjusted to allow for more students to compete for two internships with GM in China. All entries must now be received by March 1, 2013 in order to qualify for judging.
2011 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 gets power boost from the Raptor SVT
Tue, 10 Aug 2010Ford is Raptorizing one of its top-flight F-150s for 2011, adding more power underhood to go with the loads of looks and leather that are the hallmarks of the Harley-Davidson edition. The 2011 model is fitted with the 6.2-liter V8--first offered in the Raptor SVT--that makes 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque while towing up to 9,300 pounds. That's a monster upgrade from the previous edition, which displaced 5.4 liters and made 320 hp and 390 lb-ft.

Thu, 22 Jan 2009The next-generation Porsche 911 is proving to be an alluring target for spy shooters, who have caught coupe and cabriolet versions undergoing snow testing in the dead of night. Chatter is that this new 911, known internally as the 998, will roll out in late 2011 as a 2012 model--which could set it up for a debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. The all-black prototypes look similar to what we
