Vibration absorbing material consisting of one layer of the black bituminous mastic of enhanced rigidity and increased thickness. It is covered with the layer of the flexible and strong aluminum foil with thickness 0,1 mm. The most effective vibration cushioning materials; its assembly properties are one the best. It is used for vibration absorbing and noise abatement coming from heavy loaded surfaces with thickness starting from 2 mm.

Aluminum foil increases sound deadening properties of the material and provides mechanical protection. The impression has the form of the grid with the jutting out foursquare. This particular form as opposed to standard embossing ensures a higher soundproof level and additional rigidity and makes the process of cutting easier.

The material has high-level vibro-absorbing properties and when properly installed provides effective protection against corrosion. The material is to be melted-over the surface during the installation, it means that before the final positioning of the cut-out sheet needs to be evenly heated up to 60-100oC during 5-10 minutes with  a hot air gun or inside a heating cabinet. In order to avoid smoking of the material, which starts at 200oC, you should not overheat it and let it contact with the open flame. Shumoff Prof F suits for the contoured polysurfaces, including the surfaces bended in three planes. During such installation, you need to pay additional attention when you roll-down the material to the surface. After 20 hours since the material was melted-over, it gains its final adhesion to the basement and becomes more rigid but not brittle. The material is resistant to environmental factors including moisture and temperature fluctuations. Its working temperature range is from -45оC to +120оC, short-term exposure to high temperatures +180оC is possible when the material retains its structural and physical properties. Even when exposed to low temperatures, the bituminous layer, due to its structure and composition, retain elasticity and does not become brittle or fragile.

The mounting surface is secured with the release paper, which needs to be removed just before the installing of the material. On the release-layer surface there is a logo acting as a counterfeit protection and a ruling which makes cutting and installing easier. Due to high-quality release paper, the manufacturer guarantees adhesive properties retention for 12 months since the production date. After installation working lifespan is not limited and corresponds to the useful life of a car or any other object providing abidance by the rules of installation and  service instructions.

Our material is produced as a sheet in size 370x270 mm. This sheet format ideally matches car body parts as it decreases the amount of waste materials significantly and increases the installation speed, and the whole process of soundproofing becomes easier. Finished products are packed into the cardboard envelopes or cartons. Due to the sheet’s size and packaging format, it is very easy and convenient to transport, store and use our material.

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

The Skoda Yeti gets a facelift for 2014 – and a split personality The Skoda Yeti has been a big success for Skoda – and rightly so, it’s very able and decently priced – but it’s been around for a while and is ready for a facelift. So Skoda has done the usual facelift tweaks for the Yeti – which will be revealed in public at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show – with new grill and lights at the front, titivated tailgate and lights at the back, some new colour options - Moon-White, Jungle-Green, Metal-Grey and Magnetic-Brown – and new alloys. Inside the tweaks are even less obvious with titivations for the steering wheel, dashboard trim and upholstery and the arrival of a rear view camera and automatic parking the main highlights.

AA warns of automated penalties

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

DRIVERS are still suffering a year on from the time most wheelclampers were banned from operating in private car parks, according to the AA. Twelve months on, parking enforcement firms are reaping large sums from issuing automated "penalty" tickets. The AA said that while Communities Minister Eric Pickles is reining in local authorities who over-zealously use CCTV, private parking operators now rely heavily on this technology and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) to watch drivers and issue tickets through the post when they put a foot wrong in parking areas.
