The TOW MATRIX Package includes Alto Red Eagle Clutches and Power Pack, heavy duty modified center support, heavy duty clutch clearance snap ring mod, TransGo Tugger Reprogramming, Super Duty torque converter w/brazed fins modified thrust and billet back, Protection Kit with extra high capacity cooler, and more. This transmission is designed for those who need the ultimate E4OD/4R100! Transmission includes a 1 year, unlimited mile warranty with the option to extend to 3 year warranty on many applications. This auction is for the E4OD (1989-1998), but if you have a 4R100 (1999-2005) let me know and we can do one of those for you for a little bit more. These transmissions were used in Bronco, F150/F250/F350/F450/F550 as well as Econoline vans with 4.9L and up gas engines as well as diesel and powerstroke diesel. Easy way to tell you have an E4OD or 4R100 is that the transmission pan has 20 bolts on it. Ford did not make their transmissions strong enough for severe duty use - this transmission will fix that problem. Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment crowns first Sketchmaster
Tue, 28 Jan 2014College for Creative Studies (CCS) student Graham Wright has fought off competition from artists, illustrators, industrial, product and car designers to be declared the Sketchmaster of the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment 2014. Held at Detroit's Kunsthalle Museum of Contemporary Art, the contest – a self-styled fight club of design – carried the theme of lighting because of the museum's many neon and lighting installations. Before the event, design students from the area – mostly from the CCS and Lawrence Technological University (LTU) – were invited to submit early sketches before a shortlist was drawn up for the main event.
Toyota recalls Lexus cars for fuel-system fixes
Wed, 26 Jan 2011Toyota Motor Corp., struggling to restore its reputation for top quality, on Wednesday recalled nearly 1.7 million vehicles globally for a variety of fuel system related problems, including 245,000 Lexus IS and Lexus GS sedans in the United States. The North American vehicles are being called back to inspect for possibly faulty installation of fuel pressure sensors. In cases where the sensor is not fastened tightly enough, fuel can leak between the gasket that connects the sensor to the fuel delivery pipes, Toyota said.
