The Extreme Pro Series Low Profile Wheelie bars Kit: This Wheelie Bar is an Exclusive Special Design. The design makes the top and bottom wheelie bar tubes in more of a straight line with the wheelie bar wheel. This makes the wheelie bars stiffer and the result will make more initial tire slip off the starting line resulting in better performance. This design is an exclusive design used on most Pro Series Cars. This kit provides extra strength with a full x-brace and 1-1/4" .065 4130 tubing. (welding required). Features 1/2" push/pull pins and your style choice of the narrow Slim-Line polyurethane wheelie wheels. Wheel housings come welded in place. Brackets and hardware for mounting the wheelie bars to the car are not included. Rod ends included: XM8 and XB8 This kit comes unwelded. Welding Required

Returns

New Skoda Octavia Scout costs from £25,315
The new Skoda Octavia Scout arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring, bringing an ‘Allroad’ version of the latest Skoda Octavia Combi (Estate) to the market. As with all estate cars with offroad pretensions, the Octavia Scout comes with a more butch set of bumpers and a more purposeful nose, black cladding for the door sills and wheel arches, a new set of alloys, a raised ride height and a few tweaks for the interior so it all looks more than capable of taking on a muddy boot sale car park. The Scout comes with a choice of two 2.0 litre TDI engines at launch, with a lower powered, 148bhp with a six-speed manual and a more powerful, 182bhp version, getting a six-speed DSG gearbox, both of which return official economy of 55.4mpg (although, oddly, the lower-powered gets emissions of 129g/km and the more powerful 134g/km).

Seats, relationships, city life, the virtual world and new materials exploration: one month into the Car Design News-Opel/Vauxhall interactive design competition, launched on 11 October, these are a few of the themes student designers are exploring, in answer to the question 'What do you think is our lounge style?'. The competition, a collaboration between Opel-Vauxhall and Car Design News, is an interactive design competition for students who are studying design – of any discipline – at a college in Europe. The winner of the competition will work as a paid intern at Opel/Vauxhall design center in Rüsselsheim.

Is this the production version of the Lexus LF-NX? We got the reveal of the Lexus LF-NX Concept – a mid-sized SUV/Crossover, designed to slot in below the Lexus RX – at the Frankfurt Motor Show last September, and it turned up again in November at the Tokyo Motor Show. Two showings in as many months made it all but certain the LF-NX was heading for production, and the accidental reveal of what looks like a production version of the LF-NX at the Society of Automotive Analysts Conference ahead of the Detroit Auto Show during a speech by Toyota’s Jim Lentz seems to confirm the LF-NX’s imminent arrival.
