OK, stop what you're doing, get out that heavy duty sewing machine and sheers, this is going to put
that stuff to some good use!
This CD contains instructional diagrams on how to build your very own hot air balloon. And the
stuff it does not tell you, you'll be able to figure that out in no time flat.
The files on the CD include over-all construction drawings, and the ever-important panel layout
drawings. The balloon itself is not one-piece. Obviously the shape required when inflated
dictates that this thing be cut, then sewn together. Also included are how to mount the ropes that
connect the basket to the balloon.
The files on the CD are PDF format, with one file in DOC/Word format.

This is not a particularly difficult project, but it is not something you are going
to "whip together" in a couple of days. Time, patience, and careful instruction-following is the
watch-word here. The information on the CD will get you started while you go and learn how this thing flies (yes,
instruction in flying the balloon is really something you should consider before putting your life
in the hands of anything that lifts you off the ground).
Also, please remenber that the CD teaches you how to build the balloon.
The burners and basket are best to be pre-bought, however if you are good with those garage tools,
you should be able to even do that on your own - just remember to keep it light.
The picture above and to the left is from my extensive collection of stuff
and does not represent what your creation will look like once it is done. The diagrams, however, are from the actual files on the CD.
Remember to consult your local laws that govern the in-air operation of craft such as these.
That part is up to you. The plans tell you how to fabricate the balloon; staying out of trouble is your job!
Acrobat Reader is required and available for free downloading from the Adobe site.
PDF files are compatible with most versions of Windows as well as the Mac, and computers using Linux!

Two of General Motors' finest convertibles from half a century ago were the top sellers at the RM auction last weekend in suburban Detroit. A 1958 Pontiac Parisienne droptop sold for $104,500, and a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz went for $82,500 at the annual classic-car event, April 24-25 in Novi, Mich. Prices include a buyers premium.

Ahead of its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next month, McLaren has sent us the first interior photos of their new hypercar. As we already know, the P1 isn’t following the almost unique 1+2 seating concept of the McLaren F1, but has opted to make it a regular two seater. That means that there will be no right hand drive cars – they’ll all be left hand drive – and McLaren are left deciding how to make the P1′s cockpit unique.
