First teaser video for new Chevrolet Corvette posted

Glimpses--of a clay model, wheels, body panels--is what we get for the first teaser video of the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The minute-long video also sprinkles in some driving footage, from the driver's point of view, of the "Lutzring" test track at General Motors' Michigan proving grounds. It's all part of the promotion effort for the new Corvette that leads to the scheduled unveiling of the car on Jan.

XFR Jag the fastest ever

They took with them the usual holiday toys, but they remembered to pack a nice new Jaguar XFR, with a few mods necessary to run at Bonneville (roll cage, fire extinguishers, etc). They had a little fiddle with the ECU to derestrict it (and yield 600bhp) but, it is claimed, made no further mods apart from adding a spoiler at the back to stop the XFR taking off on the Salt Flats’ wide open spaces. The Peugeot 508 Estate - turns up a day early It seems like a very long time (it was November last year) since we first reported that Peugeot are dropping the 407 and the 607 and replace them with a new car – the Peugeot 508. Which makes sense, with the 407 getting a bit long on the tooth and the 607 selling nowhere but Paris. We got the first official view of the 508 in the 5 by Peugeot concept at the Geneva Motor Show at the start of the year, and a good looking and elegant Peugeot it looked.
