The internal memory-based data logging option gives comprehensive data from all vehicle sensors and powertrain controllers. IDL allows recording of up to 24 input channels and sensors to instantly assemble a comprehensive, real-time picture of exactly what is going on under the hood of your vehicle. Newly expanded controls feature a separate arming input option. It doesn't require additional hardware and is an affordable option compared to purchasing an external data logger.

JLR to build Range Rover Evoque & Jaguar XJ in India
Mon, 10 Feb 2014The 2014 Range Rover Evoque (pictured) joins the Jaguar XJ as new Indian-built cars Jaguar Land Rover already bolt together the Land Rover Freelander and Jaguar XF in India, which explains why they are the best-selling models in JLR’s range in India. That’s because import duties for cars in India can be as much as 170 per cent, so building cars locally make them much more competitively priced. At the Delhi Auto Expo Ralph Speth, JLR’s CEO, confirmed plans to start building the Jaguar XJ in India (including the XJ with the 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine), despite the complexity of producing as complex a car as the XJ outside the UK.
GM China opens Advanced Design Center in Shanghai
Wed, 19 Dec 2012General Motors China has opened a new advanced design studio as part of the establishment of its Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai. The Advanced Design Center will provide GM China's designers the tools to explore future mobility solutions and technology integration on a local and global scale. "Our new Advanced Design Center in Shanghai is part of the GM Global Design Center network, which webs from California to Germany to India and Korea and points beyond," said Wulin Gaowa, design director of the GM China Advanced Design Center.
Nissan Hi-Cross Concept at 2012 Geneva motor show

From the Murano to the Juke, via the Qashqai, rugged urban transport has been one of its big success stories (alright, maybe not the Murano). The seven-seater Hi-Cross Concept, premiered here, showcases some of the styling ideas that Nissan could filter through to future production models and also features a hybrid drivetrain and new version of its CVT gearbox.
