When creating Gran Turismo 5, the Polyphony Digital design team wanted an ultimate car, one not limited by the rules. The entire Audi RS5 brochure has leaked out We’ve been expecting Audi’s hot A5 – the Audi RS5 – for a bit longer than we initially expected. We ran a few stories last year on the Audi RS5 testing at the Nurburgring, and the general consensus was that it would turn up at Frankfurt in September and be in showrooms early in 2010. But that didn’t happen.

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the Mercedes Ener-G-Force Concept – a tease for a future Mercedes G-Class to rival the Range Rover. For starters, the Ener-G-Force Concept is arriving at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month all dressed up as a Highway Patrol Vehicle as Mercedes’ entry in to the Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge. But it’s also pointing firmly towards Mercedes plans to give Land Rover – and in particular Range Rover – a run for their money.
